
Prof. Ibo van de Poel has elected by The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences as leading researcher that helps engineers integrate such values as security, sustainability, privacy, wellbeing and fairness into their designs.
Description
The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences has selected among eighteen new members the chair of “Design of changing values in socio-technical systems” project Prof. Ibo van de Poel as a new member. The inauguration took place on September 14. Academy members, leading researchers from across all disciplines, are selected for their scientific and scholarly achievements. The Academy has about 550 members. Members are appointed for life.
